Healing Walk Event at Yuseong Hot Springs District

Yuseong District Office recently hosted a healing walk event at the foot bath area and nearby Hwangtoh walking trail in Oncheon-dong. This event, aimed at attracting foreign tourists to the Yuseong Hot Springs District, featured participants from various countries including Spain, the Philippines, Egypt, Uganda, Botswana, Indonesia, and Pakistan. The initiative is part of a broader project to rejuvenate the Yuseong Hot Springs District with a youthful lifestyle.

Foreign visitors enjoyed walking barefoot on the Hwangtoh trail and experiencing the foot bath at the hot springs. The unique feature of the Yuseong Hot Springs District is the combination of the Hwangtoh walking trail and the outdoor hot spring foot bath.

Hiba Fatima, a 22-year-old from Islamabad, Pakistan, expressed her delight, saying, “This is my first time walking barefoot and experiencing a hot spring foot bath. It feels like I’m getting healthier. I never knew such places existed in Korea.”
